The whole thing is mostly about crafting, putting together, and keeping up cloud-based data platforms that really support the business needs. This role feels like a solid match if you’ve already got data engineering experience and you like working with cloud technologies, platform administration, stubborn problem-solving, and the kind of cross-functional collaboration that doesn’t always happen “cleanly” at first.
In the day to day, you’d partner with Product Owners, software developers, quality assurance, governance, and support groups to create dependable and scalable data solutions. You’ll also help level-up DevOps services, assist with data and machine learning platforms, mentor other engineers, and contribute to the ongoing growth of the data platform team over time.
