Job Description
- The Service Technician Trainee Intern will be doing entry level inspection, repair, and maintenance on Tesla electric vehicles at the service center.
- You will get in there and build experience with EV technology, and use service tools.
- You will complete vehicle inspections, support parts operations,
- You will help with customer service while working with the team.
Responsibilities
- Do entry level inspection, repair, and maintenance on Tesla electric vehicles.
- Use different hand , power, and shop tools.
- Carry out equipment inspections, adjustments, and certifications.
- Complete Pre-Delivery Inspections, or PDI , on new Tesla vehicles.
- Keep inventory organized, track time records, manage shop supplies and parts.
- Help keep customer vehicles clean and ready.
- Support Parts operations and Front of House work as needed.
- Join rotational activities across the service center.
Requirements
- Know the methods and techniques used in vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Current enrollment in an Automotive program is preferred.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- Work well in a team based environment.
- Have a strong “safety first” mindset.
- Have a familiar understanding of English.
- Have basic computer skills.
