Job Description
- The Parts Advisor will give real parts support to Tesla’s service center by finding parts, receiving them, and checking them.
- This role is responsible for putting them away, and then allocating them for vehicle service appointments.
- You’ll also do inventory tracking, manage warranty returns, and handle internal shipments.
- You’ll coordinate with vendors, and support technicians plus customers with what they need.
Responsibilities
- Pull parts from distribution centers and other service locations
- Assign parts to vehicle service appointments
- Watch inventory levels and tell the team what is available
- Look ahead at appointments and make sure parts are prepped, and documented
- Build internal orders so shipments can go to other service centers
- Handle warranty parts returns, so quality assurance is covered
- Deal with hazardous materials and high-voltage batteries when required
