Job Description
- As a Parts Advisor , you will deliver critical parts support to Tesla’s service center through sourcing, receiving, examining, and storing.
- This role is responsible for assigning parts for vehicle service appointments.
- You’ll also be watching inventory levels, coordinating shipments, speaking with teams and suppliers.
- This role is responsible for supporting faster and more efficient service operations overall.
Responsibilities
- Source parts from Distribution Centers and other Service Centers.
- Allocate parts to vehicle service appointments.
- Monitor inventory and relay parts availability.
- Review and prep upcoming service appointments.
- Prepare internal orders for shipment to other locations.
- Process warranty parts shipments and returns.
- Handle hazardous materials and high-voltage batteries when required.
- Receive, inspect, and organize stock , as well as special-order parts.
- Escalate supplier-related parts issues to the Regional Parts Manager.
- Communicate with internal and external suppliers.
- Pick up and transport parts using a van, or a forklift when it’s necessary.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills , plus relationship-building ability.
- Can work well in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- A valid Class 5, G, or G2 driver’s license in Canada.
