Seasonal Vehicle Detailer – Nepean, Ontario

Tesla is currently looking for a Seasonal Vehicle Detailer  to help out with customer delivery operations in Nepean, Ontario. It’s a temporary position, and it kinda centers on getting cars ready for delivery, doing inspections, keeping track of vehicle inventory, and making sure each Tesla is up to the company standards before it meets the customer.

The right person is usually dependable, cheerful, well organized, and they’ll jump in without waiting to be asked or anything. You should also have a solid work ethic and a real interest in Tesla’s mission related to clean power and more sustainable energy.

Job Description

  • As a Seasonal Vehicle Detailer, you’ll play a big part in making sure vehicles are cleaned, checked, and prepared for customer handoff.
  • The work includes hands-on cleaning, checking for issues during inspections, managing lot flow, and moving vehicles and charging them.
  • This role is responsible for coordinating with logistics partners so the pre-delivery steps stay smooth and consistent.

Responsibilities

  • Detail Tesla vehicles before delivery, following company expectations.
  • Use buffers, hoses, vacuums, plus other tools for more thorough cleaning.
  • Safely move and charge vehicles as part of the pre-delivery routine.
  • Coordinate with both internal teams and third party logistics providers.
  • Complete transportation and pre-delivery inspections.

Requirements

  • Must hold a valid Class 5, G, or G2 driver’s license in Canada.
  • Be able to lift 50–60 pounds.
  • Have solid organization skills and dependable problem solving ability.
  • Be capable of building respectful, cooperative working relationships.
  • Be able to hit, and ideally surpass, performance targets.
