Senior Change Management Specialist

Canada Life is hiring a Senior Change Management Specialist, to help with strategic business initiatives and that overall org transformation stuff. It is basically about figuring out how to get people on board, and then making sure the change actually sticks even when technology and process stuff is moving at the same time.

Here, you will create stakeholder engagement plans including communication, training, readiness, adoption, and sustainment activities. You will also thread change management work into project plans, delivery schedules , and timelines

Job Description

  • Canada Life is looking for a Senior Change Management Specialist, to kind of develop and deliver end to end change management strategies for those strategic business initiatives. 
  • You’ll work closely with project teams, business leaders and other stakeholders.
  • The idea is to assess change impacts, improve organizational readiness, drive adoption, and make sure implementation actually lands, and then that it’s sustained.
  • Build solid relationships with business stakeholders, project teams, and subject matter experts, so everyone stays aligned  

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute change management strategies , and also the actual plans, for projects and initiatives  
  • Carry out change impact assessments that cover stakeholders, processes, technology and those broader organizational changes  
  • Run meetings, workshops, and focus groups to gather feedback, and address concerns as they show up  
  • Evaluate organizational readiness, resistance, risks and adoption barriers, then help clarify what needs attention  
  • Track stakeholder feedback, adoption metrics, and change performance indicators , without missing the signal  
  • Suggest actions that improve engagement , adoption and sustainment over time  
  • Help shape change management methodologies, templates, tools and standards within the team  
  • Support knowledge transfer and capability building across the Change Management group  
  • Apply industry best practices, and lessons learned across multiple projects, and not just one-off experiences
