Job Description
- The START Service Technician program gives intensive training focused on Tesla electric vehicle servicing.
- You’ll be doing instructor-led sessions, hands-on laboratory work, self-driven learning, and also service-center shadowing.
- All of that is aimed at building both the technical abilities and the professional habits you need for a Tesla Service Technician role.
Responsibilities
- Put in at least 40 hours each week toward the program.
- Show up and take part in service-center shadowing so you gain real, day to day experience.
- Finish instructor-led training covering Tesla vehicles and EV technologies.
- Work alongside other team members during lab work and classroom activities.
- Always respect safety protocols that are already set.
- Keep tools and equipment properly organized, like actually maintained and managed.
- Handle multiple priorities, and still hit the weekly curriculum goals along with deadlines.
- Keep good, professional relationships with instructors and training staff, even when things get busy.
Requirements
- Attend, and successfully complete the required training sessions, with an 80% or higher GPA.
- Be able to travel to a START training location and also the nearby service center.
- Be willing to relocate after you finish the program successfully.
- Be able to accept employment at a Tesla Service Center within 30 days after graduation.
