Job Description
- You’ll help prepare project charters, management plans, schedules, and progress reports
- You will give specialized engineering input and recommendations on stormwater related items
- You’ll also prepare reports, presentations, and written correspondence for a range of stakeholders
- When needed, you may represent the department on working groups and committees
- You’re expected to stay current with stormwater standards, regulations, technologies, and best practices
Responsibilities
- Lead studies and capital projects connected to stormwater infrastructure
- Provide engineering recommendations for stormwater projects and initiatives
- Support the preparation of the Stormwater Business Plan and Budget
Requirements
- You must have a degree in Civil, Water Resources, Environmental Engineering , or a related discipline
- You must have at least 2 years of progressive experience in municipal stormwater engineering and planning
- You must have experience with stormwater infrastructure projects involving flood control, water quality, linear infrastructure, or creek rehabilitation
- You must have experience with Municipal Class Environmental Assessment
