Rogers Bank is looking for a Senior Analyst, Acquisition to join its growing Credit Risk team , and honestly it’s pretty much about turning data and analytics into better credit risk acquisition decisions across customer, product, and channel segments.
The right person will end up working side by side with Credit Risk, Marketing, Operations , AML, and Fraud teams so they can map out strategies, review performance, and share those actionable insights that people actually use day to day.

Job Description
- As Senior Analyst, Acquisition you’ll back Credit Risk in originations strategy and analytics, using a data driven approach.
- You’ll be looking at acquisition performance, and tuning the risk/reward thinking.
- You will be responsible for supporting marketing campaigns.
- You will be responsible for helping with cross functional initiatives as they come up.
Responsibilities
- Do analytics to improve credit risk originations strategies with a focus on risk and reward
- Help drive strategic initiatives across Credit Risk , Marketing, Operations , and other teams
- Create reporting on acquisition strategy results and the key customer segments behind it
- Support pre qualification and acquisition campaigns , then share feedback so the next version of strategy is stronger
- Summarize and communicate analytical findings to technical and non technical audiences , even when the questions are not always the same
Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field
- 2+ years of experience in consumer finance or credit card environments is preferred
- 2+ years of experience with SAS, Python, R, Knowledge Studio , or similar statistical tools
- Strong analytical and statistical skills, no shortcuts
- Advanced SQL and database querying skills
- Advanced Excel skills, including macros/VBA and pivot tables
- Experience with TSYS and ACE Decision Max (ADM) is an asset
