Job Description
- In this Parts Advisor role you’ll be supporting the Tesla service center in a big way.
- You’ll source parts, manage them day to day, track inventory, set up and support service appointments.
- This role will handle warranty returns and coordinate with suppliers.
- You’ll also assist technicians and the other service teams when parts are required on short notice.
Responsibilities
- Source parts from Distribution Centers and other Service Centers.
- Allocate parts to vehicle service appointments.
- Keep an eye on inventory , and communicate availability as well as updates.
- Go through upcoming appointments and make sure parts are prepared and documented correctly.
- Prepare internal orders for shipment to other service locations.
- Process warranty parts returns, so quality assurance can be handled properly.
- Receive, inspect, sort, and store stock plus special-order parts.
- Escalate supplier concerns and any parts related problems to the Regional Parts Manager.
Requirements
- Capacity to manage many tasks at once and still meet deadlines.
- Solid English skills for communication , reading, and writing.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain the required licensing where applicable.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 25 lbs.
