Job Description
- As a Tesla Service Technician, you will do both basic and advanced diagnostics, and repairs across Tesla’s vehicle lineup.
- You’ll team up with technicians and engineers, use specialized tools, diagnostic technology, and you’ll also be expected to document what you did.
- On top of that, you help push continuous improvements in repair methods and products, which is nice.
Responsibilities
- Do basic and advanced diagnostic and repair work on Tesla vehicles.
- Work with the team to improve repair speed and efficiency.
- Clean and detail vehicles, when it’s needed.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and general shop equipment safely and properly.
- Use a company provided laptop for diagnostics and online training.
- Log repairs accurately, no guesswork.
- Inspect and maintain shop tools and equipment.
- Ask for replacement equipment when something is no longer serviceable.
Requirements
- Automotive Service Technician License, or a willingness to become a Technician Apprentice through provincial schooling.
- You have a strong “safety first” mindset.
- You hold a valid Class 5, G, or G2 driver’s license in Canada.
- You can work well in a team environment.
- You bring solid organization skills, plus good problem solving.
